Our History

Trace Communications was created in 2003 as an operational spin-off of Tri-Auto Enterprises, a nationwide automotive marketing firm. Since then, Trace Communications has been one of the fastest growing companies in the country.

We are committed to helping our 600-plus newspaper customers generate advertising revenue. Trace specializes in full-color printing of single sheet inserts, magazines and direct mail. We’re also committed to sharing best practices. We see and research hundreds of unique special sections and product ideas every month and regularly provide our customers with proven ideas to enhance revenue. Based on an Open Book Management philosophy – a firm belief in giving all employees the ability to learn about the business and how they impact it – Trace’s “Game Management” style has helped to shape our promise of “heroic” customer service. Our staff is comprised of friendly, knowledgeable individuals, many of whom have worked in the newspaper industry as publishers, advertising directors, marketing managers and sales representatives.
